Bog Oak & Baltic Amber Pendant – Drop, 45x20x8 mm – ZILVANO

Two materials separated by millions of years.

A teardrop pendant in ancient bog oak from a deposit whose samples were radiocarbon-dated to around 7,500 years, set in clear jewellery resin, with natural Baltic amber. The oak’s deep black is entirely natural: it formed without any dye, through long contact between the wood, water and minerals. Baltic amber is the fossilised resin of ancient forests, around 40 million years old.

The teardrop has subtle proportions that gently lengthen the neckline. About 45 × 20 mm — clearly visible, yet comfortable to wear. A high-gloss finish emphasises the depth of the materials.

Each piece is made in a small series or as a bespoke commission, preserving a natural material structure that can never be replicated exactly.
