A contrast of entirely natural origin.

A rectangular pendant in ancient bog oak from a deposit whose samples were radiocarbon-dated to around 7,500 years, set in clear jewellery resin, with natural Baltic amber. The oak’s deep black is entirely natural: it formed without any dye, through long contact between the wood, water and minerals. Amber, formed over some 40 million years, adds warmth and natural texture.

The straight edges of the rectangle form a graphic frame for the material. About 40 × 20 mm — clearly visible, yet comfortable to wear. A high-gloss finish emphasises the depth of the materials.
