Bog Oak & Baltic Amber Pendant – Shield, 42x35x6 mm – three ambers – ZILVANO

Two materials separated by millions of years.

A shield-shaped pendant in ancient bog oak from a deposit whose samples were radiocarbon-dated to around 7,500 years, set in clear jewellery resin, with natural Baltic amber. This wood keeps a natural, undyed black that no stain can imitate. Natural Baltic amber — fossilised resin from forests some 40 million years old — brings warm, honeyed light into the composition.

The shield form gives the pendant a stronger, yet still calm presence. About 42 × 35 mm — clearly visible, yet comfortable to wear. A high-gloss finish emphasises the depth of the materials.
