An oval of black, cut through with golden light.
A slender oval pendant in ancient bog oak from a deposit whose samples were radiocarbon-dated to around 7,500 years. Decorative gold-tone leaf flakes are set in clear jewellery resin — they form no fixed pattern but settle as the material allows, so every piece carries its own map of light.
The natural, undyed black of the oak gives the flakes a backdrop against which even the smallest glint stands out. The whole piece is finished to a high gloss. Its elongated form lengthens the neckline and sits equally well against an open collar or a roll-neck.
Quiet jewellery with character: the gold-tone accent never shouts, it simply answers the light.
